      Verdict

      MONTASER wasn't an overly expensive purchase but is a half-brother to four winners and should have no problem with this trip on debut. Up against exposed opposition, the Rail Link colt can make a winning start. Tidal Way has gone close twice over 7f and, as a half-brother to 1m4f Silver Suitor, should stay this extra furlong. He looks a better bet than Lingfield fourth Hearts And Minds while the others have plenty to find.
