In depth
Verdict
Local Show won a point-to-point last year and was second in a bumper. He's been placed in two of his three starts over hurdles and sets a decent standard amongst this small field but THUNDER AND RAIN also makes plenty of appeal. He did well to win a bumper over 2m at Chepstow in December and then finish second under a penalty at Wincanton and his pedigree screams stamina - he looks a nice staying prospect. Kavanaghs Corner was second to subsequent hurdles winner Stiletto between the flags at Maralin in November and also warrants respect.
