Verdict

Work won a couple of times over staying trips at Chelmsford in October for David Simcock and is now with David Pipe. He’ll be expected to pay his way over timber. Attest ran well on soft ground at Salisbury in June and was lightly-raced on the Flat. He’s the type to do better over hurdles but SPORTY YANKEE is just as interesting. Successful over 1m4f and 1m5f on an easy surface on the level for Karl Burke, Martin Keighley will have high hopes that the grey can make a name for himself under NH Rules. Monday Club wasn’t disgraced at Sandown on his hurdling debut so can’t be ignored.
