Verdict

The ex-Irish Gran Torino had no chance from his handicap mark here on Boxing Day but generally raced in better company than this in his native country and should get involved. Ten Fires makes too many mistakes which is why he's 1-19 over fences while Kilcommon Pride has jumped massively in the weights since last season and has a long absence to overcome. For The Staff has dropped to a fair mark but is still a maiden so this can go to the tough SHAKING HANDS, who made all and battled on in very testing ground at Towcester last month. Full Of Joy hasn't had much racing over the past couple of years but has to be respected on his narrow defeat at Fontwell on his penultimate start just over a year ago.
