Verdict

AP McCoy boasts a decent strike rate when teaming up with Rebecca Curtis' novices and it's likely that GOD OF THE KOP, a wide-margin winner of a bumper at the track in January, will have had plenty of schooling. He can make a winning start to his hurdles career. The Big Freeze may need this after a break but Parhelion will be all the better for his run behind Kings Bayonet at Ascot and has to go on the short-list while last month's C&D third Magic Show appears to be improving with experience and is another to consider.
