In depth

Verdict

Beast Of Burden's attempts at chasing last term left plenty to be desired and he's best watched until showing signs of improvement. WHATAKNIGHT (NAP) won five of his seven starts between the flags and made a seamless transition to hurdles last season, winning at Taunton and Haydock. He beat Minella Daddy by five lengths on the latter occasion and is now 10lb better off so it's hard to imagine Peter Bowen's charge reversing the placings if both jump round safely. The mare Chantara Rose will find easier opportunities than this.
