Verdict
It took CASPIAN PIPER a while to get the hang of chasing but he's on an upward curve now and had the frustrating Zama Zama well behind in third when winning over course and distance two weeks ago. A hat-trick beckons for Tim Vaughan's charge despite a further 5lb rise. Waddingtown Hero has been disappointing since winning over a shorter trip here in April and is still climbing the weights while the luckless Dipity Doo Dah is making his fencing bow at the age of 11. Goldie Horn has yet to finish in two tries over fences but isn't badly treated on the pick of her hurdles form.
