Verdict
Paul Townend has a few rides today for Rebecca Curtis and the pair can strike with RED DEVIL LADS (NAP). He still has a bit to learn about jumping fences but clearly has an engine, as he showed when routing a decent field at Exeter last time, and has a lot more scope than Paddy The Oscar. Grace Harris' veteran is in good nick, however, winning easily under Conor Ring at Chepstow earlier this month. Cruising Bye has been knocking on the door and is weighted to reverse running over hurdles with Kapricorne here in the autumn. It will be a surprise if he's not in the frame again as none of the others arrive in any kind of form.
