In depth

Verdict

A trappy contest where the safest option may be to side with the hat-trick seeking GRACIE'S GAMES who has risen a total of 10lbs for good ground wins at Yarmouth and Nottingham. She looks capable of coping with the rise in the weights whilst her pedigree offers some encouragement that she'll be able to cope with some cut in the ground. Underfoot conditions should be fine for George Thisby but his recent efforts have lacked any sparkle and a bigger threat should be posed by Desert Icon who loves to get his toe in and he came close to taking advantage of a career low mark last time. San Jose City merits respect now that he's recaptured his form and don't discount Memphis Man who has slipped to a nice mark and is closely matched with Desert Icon on recent running.
