Verdict

Get It On was always travelling well when coming right away from his rivals at Chepstow on Saturday. A 7lb penalty shouldn't be too much of a problem but a second race within three days on very soft ground may tax his stamina reserves and he has to give almost a stone to ROYAL RIVIERA. The latter, who is improving over fences and was just denied at Kelso 10 days ago, gets the nod as Hodgson has been struggling since winning over course and distance in June on much faster going and was well behind Qoubilai at Perth in July. Brousse En Feux may be aiming too high here.
