Nijoom Dubai showed plenty of promise on her Newbury debut when chasing home Polar Circle and should appreciate the step up to six furlongs today but at likely odds Mick Channon's filly may be worth taking on with preference for Ruff Diamond, who gets the vote ahead of Bosun Breese. The last mentioned ran encouragingly on his Leicester debut and should do better over an extra furlong today and on this slower ground, while Fox's Den may have to settle for a minor role having seemingly failed to build on his debut effort when disappointing at Bath last time. Amanda Perrett has her string in good form so Isander cannot be discounted on his debut, while Tenth Night may do better than on his first start. Ruff Diamond ran a race full of promise at Ascot last month though and, with improvement to come for the extra furlong and better ground, he looks the one they all have to beat.
