Verdict
For consistency Above The Cut is a tentative TEAMtalk selection in this weak hurdle race. He has shown ability at a variety of distances and returns here on the back of a short break. The ground should suit and his trainer has good form at this track. His main danger could be The Brewer who ran creditably on his reappearance at Stratford 17 days ago and should come on for the run. He was beginning to recapture his form of a couple of seasons ago when he was given a summer break. Asking is capable of going well on his day and has the ground to suit here. He is taking a small step up in trip but goes well fresh and any market support should be significant.
