In depth

Verdict

Hold The Gold and Glittering Prize look to be the two form horses here and we will side with the first named, Spiritonthemount could be the pick of the newcomers. The selection has had three runs to date and has shown promise on each occasion. His most recent outing was at Wolverhampton in a decent conditions event. He was only just touched off by Cosmic Art and a repeat of that effort should be good enough this afternoon. Glittering Prize displayed improved form behind No Page last time out and she should be in the shake up. Barry Hills trains that winner and he is represented here by Spiritonthemount who is related to plenty of winners in the States. A market move for this one could be significant. Compton Bridge could be the best of the others, but the most likely winner is Hold The Gold.
