In depth

Verdict

Yassar looks the one to be on in a tricky start to the card, At The Double and It's Rumoured appear to be the likely dangers. David Wintle's ten-year-old is returning to hurdling after a year's spell over the larger obstacles. At first glance his form is not that inspiring, he was pulled up at Leicester last month, but his victory at Worcester in June makes very good reading and he could turn out to be very well treated here. It's Rumoured rarely puts in a bad effort he wasn't beaten far behind He's The Guvnor at Towcester last time, he will be hard to keep out of the places. At The Double landed a poor selling hurdle at Plumpton last time, he did win easily but he may find it difficult to follow up in this slightly better company. Eua Pure has shown little recently but is from a top yard and may do best of the remainder, however Yassar is of interest in this line up and gets a sporting vote.
