Verdict
Carpet Ride, Lowlander and Quality First look the main protagonists in this hunter chase and the nomination is given to Carpet Ride. The selection was a fair second behind Forest Green last time out. The drop in trip looks to be in his favour and under ground conditions that suit he looks the one to be on. Lowlander rates the main danger on his latest seventh behind Cannon Bridge in a much better race but all his best form is over a much longer trip and he looks opposable on that basis. Quality First is another that could go well as he beat Rooster last time. However his best form is on fast ground so he would not want any rain. Of the remainder York Rite hails from a stable in good form and could go well at a price but for the winner we return to Carpet Ride.
