In depth
Verdict
Quinta da Lobo, Darn Him and Mickey Pearce are the three to focus on here, and Quinta da Lobo is given the vote. Darn Him takes a drop in grade here, having shown promise in a couple of bumpers, and then ran well for a long way in a claiming hurdle over this course and distance. He can reach a place. Mickey Pearce's last win came in this grade, and he hit the frame in similar company last time. This looks a weak affair, and he can put his experience to good use and play a leading role here. Quinta da Lobo is more lightly raced, and may be capable of improvement. He ran well last time, finishing fifth in a similar race, not far behind Mickey Pearce. He is seven pounds better off and can reverse the placings. Quinta da Lobo is the selection for a yard in form.
