In depth

Verdict

This is a quite competitive race but Byo could be the answer with Prime Recreation and Simpsons Mount the main dangers. The selection won well last time at Southwell when beating Gone 'N' Dunnett and as that form has since been franked he looks the one to be on, especially as he's ran well in the past under today's conditions over this course and distance. Prime Recreation was returning from a break when disappointing at Yarmouth last time, but he is well-drawn here and if he comes on for that run then he could go close with Lisa Jones booked for the ride. Simpsons Mount is in good form but he is probably seen at his best over 6f and he would also prefer faster ground than this. Girlsweekend tackles this trip for the first time and she is lightly-raced so she is another to consider, but for the winner we return to Byo.
