Verdict

Bilidn is hard to fancy and Love Over Gold looks high enough in the weights. Goldtrek has proved better over a longer trip so far and Medaille D'Or will need to step up on last month's win over C&D off a 6lb higher mark. Newbury winner Sacred Shield was held at Sandown last time but has scope for improvement, though it's CAPTIVATOR that makes most appeal. James Fanshawe's filly landed a double earlier this year and would have preferred faster ground on her return from a lay-off at Chester. She finished runner-up to Oceanway in a race that is working out well and can go one better here.
