      Verdict

      This is as bad as it gets with four-year-old maidens in opposition. Pip Payne's newcomer La Belle Clare is out of a mare that won six races and she would not have to be anything special to make a winning debut. This should go to Siraj, who has at least has looked as though she may be capable of winning a race. If she gets beat in this there is no hope for her.
