Verdict
This looks a fairly tight heat with Shebang nominated as the selection ahead of Grand Art and Winged Farasi. A step up to seven furlongs brought improvement from Up In Arms at Lingfield last time and the form rates as solid enough to give him claims today. The Willie Haggas-trained Big Player looks just that based on his overall profile in what looks a run-of-the-mill event, so watch the betting for clues. Each of Grand Art's runs so far suggest that he can play his part today, while Law Of The Land has not really built on his reasonable course and distance run of June in two subsequent efforts. Having shown promise by making late headway on his Newmarket debut, Winged Farasi is entitled to some thought, while Fistral's debut run at Newbury was not devoid of promise, so he could go well. Finally, Shebang's debut second to Spanish Hidalgo over a mile at Lingfield last time - based on which Law Of The Land has five lengths to find - makes her a key player too. So much so, in fact, that we put her forward as the selection.
