Verdict

More low-grade fare. Renaloo is selected to follow up a recent course and distance success. He had become frustrating to follow but is probably capable of landing a modest event like this. Guiganel du Cochet and The Leader have met on numerous occasions with each beating the other at some stage in their careers. They are admirable sorts but it is asking a lot for them to give so much weight away in such testing conditions. An experiment with a longer trip did not appear to suit Copper Shell. He does like to get his toe in though and could force himself into the places if on a going day.
