Verdict

Another small but competitive field for this handicap hurdle. Just A touch is taken to get back on the winning trail. The Rakaposhi King gelding is a course and distance winner who will love the ground, he was slightly disappointing at Doncaster last time out but that could be due to the fast ground. He is sure to be suited by the softer ground here and he will be hard to beat off what still looks a fair mark. Executive Decision rates the main danger he ran well in a much better race when sixth behind Non So at Kempton last time out. However he has to concede a stone to Just A touch here and that may just find him out. Madison Avenue won a claimer at Plumpton on his debut and appeared not to stay the three mile trip in a better race last time out. Half The Pot is well in on his best form and although he will have conditions in his favour, this front runner has become very disappointing.
