Sergeant Slipper can take advantage of another nice draw to supplement his shock win at Ripon last time. Despite having little chance at the weights in a claimer over this trip he scored in good fashion and although he faces a similarly tough task today he clearly likes this ground and is probably worth taking a chance with. Olivia Grace made a pleasing debut when winning at Lingfield and although untried on this surface she does have a good draw and has more scope than most so is an obvious threat. Classy Cleo is as tough as teak and will benefit from the confident assistance of Pat Eddery in the saddle so is another for the shortlist, while the likes of Gdansk and Chorus could find that an unhelpful low draw will scupper their chances.
