In depth
Verdict
The improving Poyle Heather can finally break her maiden tag ahead of Old Bailey and Lalapaanzi in a competitive sprint. Johnny Portman's filly ran her best race to date last time out at Windsor and in that sort of form should have the beating of these on ground to suit. Old Bailey rates as the main danger having run his best race to date three days ago at Newcastle. A reproduction of that form should see him go very close. The difficult to pronounce Lalapaanzi has displayed a good enough level of form to throw him into the mixer here and although he has to burden top rate should run well and at least threaten the selection Poyle Heather.
