In depth

Verdict

Cave Hill is awarded our vote but Mon Mome, Borero and Ballykelly are interesting opponents. Mon Mome is an obvious starting point as he is rated some thirty pounds higher over fences and could prove hard to beat if running near his chase mark. There's no guarantee of that though and bumper winner Cave Hill has shown enough in qualifying for a mark to be of interest here. This step up in trip and drying ground could see him step up on the form that has seen him finish in midfield in three well contested events. Ballykelly boasts a similar profile and is one to note in the market with the yard enjoying a better season whilst Borero has shown ability in France. Push The Port, Geography and The Wooden Spoon could reach the frame but the aforementioned horses appeal as likelier winners and we'll take Cave Hill to land the honours.
