        Masterpiece Day was back in the groove when rallying to take second spot behind Nattytyme over 6f here recently and has every chance in a modest claimer. Jomo got off the mark at the 15th attempt on the same day while a case could be made for Mascarpone on last year’s form at Remington Park. ALPINE EMPIRE justified favouritism in a maiden claimer here at the start of the month and that could give him the impetus to land this ahead of the disappointing President Witt.
