Verdict
Kentford Heiress should give Andrew Thornton a good ride as the pilot closes in on that elusive 1000th winner, the mare having delivered her best performance of the year last time when a respectable Wincanton third on quick ground. She has found life tougher since being hiked by the handicapper last summer and may still be two or three pounds too high. Frank N Fair has shown major improvement the last twice and is the only course winner on show but he's now a stone higher in the ratings and that may prove a considerable obstacle to this hat-trick attempt. Nevertheless he has to be respected along with Bold Adventure who very much outran his price at Warwick last time to confirm the fires are still burning in the 12-y-o. However, JACKFIELD remains open to plenty of improvement at the age of six, showed improved form when scoring at Stratford last time in a first-time visor which is retained and gets in here in receipt of weight all round despite an 8lb rise for that first career success.
