This looks the best race on the card with GOWANAUTHAT taken to complete the hat-trick under Harry Bannister. He's been raised 12lb for two recent wins but appeared better than ever when making most to score at Kempton and his attacking style should be well suited to this track with trip and ground ideal. Hindon Road came good when scoring narrowly at Bangor and has his conditions again off a 6lb higher mark, whilst Flaming Gorge should also run his race off topweight. Venetian Lad's seven course wins inevitably make him of interest along with Houston Dynimo and Allow Dallow. The latter frequently threatens to deliver without doing so after travelling well and Aidan Coleman is tasked with the job of trying to finesse home this talented but frustrating customer.
