Ena Baie has only raced in Ireland since winning a Southwell handicap in June of last year but looks high enough in the weights at present. Baddesley Knight has a welter burden to shoulder and was chasing last term but Miss Heritage did well over the smaller obstacles last season and Foreign Secretary looked to be coming to hand at Plumpton last month. NEBUCHADNEZZAR finally got his head in front at Fakenham in March, appreciating the better ground. He is 7lb higher on his return but may still be a step ahead of the handicapper, though wouldn’t want significant rain. Vorashann will need to improve again on last month’s second here raised 5lb.
