In depth
Verdict
Cruz Santa looks the obvious choice and the jockey booking is very encouraging. If his confidence has not been totally shattered from his last time out fall then he will be hard to beat. Crack Regiment returns hurdling after an unhappy time over the larger hurdles. On his old form he has a good chance but it depends what mood he is in here. Ludere will find this trip more to his liking than his latest outing. With the ground in his favour he should be in the shake-up. Jenski has had training problems but shaped encouraging last time out. If this race does not come too soon he should run well especially with AP aboard. The rest have question marks over them. Maximus has been out of form of late but on his best form he would win this easily. Though he can't be backed with confidence he may well go well at a decent price.
