Verdict
Veteran Herecomesthetruth bolted up over course and distance last month and is enjoying an Indian summer. While it may not pay to take that latest form too literally, he's only 2lb today and Chris Gordon has put up a 10lb claimer to reduce his weight further. Tribal Dance won twice in the spring and Sean Bowen's presence in the saddle is a plus, though this would be plenty short enough nowadays. SYLVAN LEGEND was pulled up after his jumping went to pieces at Stratford last time in the race in which Tribal Dance finished fourth. But that wasn't his true running as he'd won over this track and trip earlier and races off the same mark taking Martin McIntyre's claim into account.
