Verdict

A race little better than selling grade and DAWN AT SEA is recommended with Deadline and Intersky Music others to make the shortlist. John Flint's mare has been in good nick this term and seems to have rediscovered her form since heading to Wales. She was unfortunate to run up against a well handicapped type last time out and compensation awaits. Deadline has seemingly been around forever. The trainer normally does well with others castoffs but the five-year-old looks plenty exposed to us. Intersky Music sees the Champion jockey replace an inexperienced conditional. He won at Market Rasen in July a shade cosily though was well held next time out. Go Free has had his moments in the past though is out of form of late. Home accounted for Deadline in a similarly dire contest though is obviously worse off at the weights as a consequence. Captain Becket is a course and distance scorer and actually drops in grade having struggled in better company. Miss Skippy is at her best on rattling fast ground and she rallied well to take a recent selling plate. The tongue strap that accompanied it is tried again today. Good Parade was entitled to need a first run for new connections and it would be no surprise to see plenty of interest in the market. Dawn At Sea has done enough in her last two runs to suggest she can be still competitive at this level and she is afforded the nomination.
