In depth

Verdict

LETS GET SERIOUS ran out the comfortable winner of a bumper at Cheltenham early last season that produced a host of subsequent winners over hurdles. He doesn't have a classic NH pedigree but is starting off over timber at a realistic level and it will be a surprise if he doesn't go close under the champion. Fox Appeal sets a decent standard, however, having overcome inexperience to score over C&D last month and Stephen O'Donovan again takes off 7lb. Duke Of Monmouth finished ahead of Super Ken over C&D recently and Newbury bumper winner Medinas is another for the short-list.
