Verdict

This will be a real test of stamina but that won't faze Oncle Kid, who won over C&D on similar ground last month. Paul Henderson's charge is 8lb higher today but can't be ignored while it would be no surprise to see the consistent Sir Winston in the firing-line on his return to action, though he doesn't win as often as he should. Billy Murphy finished behind Hobb's Dream at Lingfield in January but can reverse the placings on better terms here though we are giving REYMISTERIO a final chance to get off the mark under Rules as he would probably have won at Folkestone last time had his rider gone for home earlier. The 10-year-old races of the same mark here.
