In depth

Verdict

Antony found only one too good here in October and again at Plumpton in December. Applesandpierres has placed the last twice at Leicester but the 14-year-old seems to reserve his best for that track. After The Fox got back to winning ways at Chepstow but has gone up 7lb for that success. BOLSOVER BILL travelled well into the race at Newcastle last Monday but couldn’t match the speed of the winning favourite on the run-in. He could gain compensation here partnered by one of the more experienced riders taking part in this.
