Verdict
A wide open contest rounds off the card and as usual in these types of races jockeyship will be all important but the principals look to be Kitmat, Smart Guy and Reflex Courier and we will side with Kitmat. The seven year old has been in good form of late and was a fair third behind Walcot Lad last time out, he will appreciate the step up in trip and with conditions in his favour he will be hard to beat. Smart Guy rates the main danger on his win a couple of runs ago however, he was very disappointing last time and for that reason he is opposed. Reflex Courier is another that could go well but he gave the impression he was in the handicappers grip when fifth behind On The Luce last time. Of the remainder Just Avril is one of the least exposed in the field and is open to improvement. But for the winner we return to Kitmat.
