It was probably the longer trip rather than a 6lb rise which scuppered MAGIC RIVER at Fakenham. He’d travelled strongly throughout when winning earlier over 3m1f at Wincanton and he does have form around here. Krujers Girl has won twice over fences this year and she reverts to the larger obstacles after a third over hurdles at Worcester while Joey Steel was an easy winner over 3m at Fakenham and will be a threat to all if staying the extra.
