      In depth

      Verdict

In a modest chase, Norseman Cateline is selected ahead of Ah Yeah and Just Muckin Around. In keeping with a number of these runners, the top four in the list of runners need career-best efforts if they are going to score, although you cannot rule out good runs from the course and distance winners River Amora, Shannon Lodge and Just Muckin Around, who are part of that quartet. Norseman Cateline ran well for a long way at Perth last time and, even though he has been raised three pounds for his effort, a good run is not ruled out. Abutilon seemed to show improved form at Huntingdon last time and could run well again, and Ah Yeah is another to also consider, although his recent best efforts have come at selling level, including when beaten half-a-length by Shannon Lodge and he is now two pounds better off at the weights. Once again, then, the selection is Norseman Cateline.
