In depth
Verdict
Taralina gets the call over Lavender Track and Day's Over, with Ashley's Petale one to keep on the right side of. Taralina has shaped well on both bumper starts to date, and the fact that she is trained by Paul Nichols will ensure that she goes off fancied. The daughter of Kayf Tara is related to Irish National winner Timbera on the dam's side, and so it is not hard to envisage her going chasing before too long. First things first though, and she can open her account today before going hurdling this winter. Lavender Track did nothing wrong on her Bangor debut and should at least maintain the form over Day's Over, while of the remainder, Ashleys Petale catches the eye, with Timmy Murphy booked to ride. The market should prove a good guide, with Taralina expected to command most support.
