Verdict
Big Moment, Ask The Gatherer and Taffy Dancer look the ones to concentrate on in this cracking contest and the vote goes to Ask The Gatherer. The gelding from the bang in form Paul Nicholls yard won a bumper at Wexfoed on his debut, he has reportedly schooled well at home and he is taken to win on his hurdling debut as his main challenger Big Moment is giving him seven pounds. Big Moment won a small race on his debut in some style but he this is more competitive and he may be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Taffy Dancer is also worthy of respect he is from a yard in top form and this gelding by Emperor Jones has also won at up to 12 furlongs on the flat so is worth noting in the market. Of the remainder Treasure Trail was 8th behind Albuhera last time and will find this company much easier but we are happy to take a chance on the hurdling debutante Ask The Gatherer.
