Verdict
MORESTEAD ground it out from the front over a slightly longer trip at Lingfield seven days ago and, as that was a conditionals' event, can race off a 2lb lower mark here. He's likely to be taken on for the lead by Marodima but that rival hasn't raced since June and, with the excellent Brendan Powell taking the reins again, the seven-year-old can come out on top. There And Then has plenty to prove over fences and veteran Massini Sunset isn't the force of old, but Pocket Aces and Green To Gold have the past form to figure if forgiven their latest efforts.
