Verdict
Most are given a fair chance with BERMEO the pick. The Farrelly inmate wouldn't want conditions to deteriorate but looked ready to return to chasing after staying on well to gain the minor placing last time over hurdles on first start after a break. Soft ground or worse would be a concern though. Similar comments apply to Our Reward, a brave winner the last day under today's conditional, as practically all his consistent form has been delivered on better ground. Findusatgorcombe has compiled a more than decent record over fences and cannot be discounted whilst West Wizard is rated 22lb lower over fences than hurdles and could be a threat off this mark.
