Verdict

CENOTICE gets the vote as he won a maiden hurdle at Ballinrobe in April and made a very promising start over fences behind Wicklow Brave at Ballinrobe where he was staying on well over that 2m1f. Gold Seal was well beaten and looks held but Minella Times did well to score over hurdles as he was always more likely to make a chaser so he's one to note on his debut over fences as is The Big Lense, who is in the same ownership and scored on his only start between the flags. The latter's yard also run Count Simon, who has been in excellent form over timber and looks a potentially smart stayer over the bigger obstacles despite having a purely Flat-based pedigree.
