        Mydante (IRE) Fair stayer who seems in good heart. Close third at Exeter last week and should be thereabouts, though may find this trip a little on the sharp side.

        Lord of Love Quite well treated on best form and returned with a fair third over an inadequate trip at hereford. This trip is much more suitable and cannot be ruled out.

        Coral Island Fontwell specialist with two course and distance victories to his name, and his reappearance here was over an inadequate trip. Will strip fitter for that and is very well treated on his best form.

        Swansea Bay Scraped home in a three mile maiden hurdle at Worcester and beaten a distance on only subsequent start. seems harshly treated here.

        Meriel's Mistake (IRE) Has struggled badly since winning last December at Huntingdon and looks one to avoid for now.

        Charlie Charlie Runner-up in this race last year on reappearance and now 5lbs higher. Goes well round here and runs well fresh, but may find one or two too good.

        Prince On The Ter Little to recommend him so far and faces a stiff task here.

        Comeragh Gale (IRE) Handicap debut after just three runs, but best of those came over a much shorter trip than this. Best watched for now.

        Mystic Hill Not won for over three years and that is unlikely to change here.

        Enchanted Cottage Game winner of a seller here last month but although he ought to stay this trip this is a much tougher contest.

        Goldengirlmichelle (IRE) Frustrating sort who is not badly treated on her best form but is far from guaranteed to reproduce it.

        Salaman (FR) 16lbs out of the handicap and chances of finishing in the money look very remote.
