This looks one for Philip Hobbs and Richard Johnson as bumper winner UMNDENI was only beaten 4l in a big field of maiden hurdlers at Newbury and looks certain to be suited by the longer trip. Little Jack won a bumper by 15l here in June but blotted his copybook on his hurdling debut at Ludlow where he refused to race. He may be best watched for now while Brigade of Guards hasn't shown enough to merit consideration. Minerfortyniner, six times a winner between the flags, ran well when runner-up at Hereford in November but was always struggling in an Ascot handicap last month. I'd Better Go Now has joined Dan Skelton after a fair bumper debut at Bangor though that was back in October 2017.
