Verdict
Clondaw Westie won four handicaps last year including twice around here. He was in need of the run on last month's reappearance and should go close. Mortens Leam won a handicap by 23l on this track last month, his second victory here, and though unable to handle a 14lb rise in better company at Market Rasen ran well for a long way. NATIVE ROBIN had a bit up his sleeve at Fakenham last month and wouldn't have been suited by heavy ground at Exeter next time but he ran well to finish runner-up and can gain his sixth victory over fences. Stage Summit has only had two starts over fences but wasn't beaten far at Chepstow in November and is definitely the type to make progress. Night Of Sin ran poorly at Chepstow last time and Triple Chief was soon beaten after attempting to make all at Exeter.
