Verdict
Schemer Fagan gets the call ahead of Another Gale, Mad Professor and La Griffe. This is yet another race in which bets are best kept to the minimum, with our vote going to Schemer Fagan on the strength of his last-time out second over shorter here nine days ago. That was his best effort for some time, and this step up in trip and drop in grade should at least enable him to figure in the finish. Another Gale reverts to hurdles again after jumping badly round Towcester last time, and has a squeak on past form, while Mad Professor has not run under rules since last September but was second in a point recently. La Griffe was runner-up to Ah Yeah over fences here 18-days ago, and a good run by the latter in the 7:05pm would advertise his claims. However, we shall stick with Schemer Fagan to small stakes.
