In depth
Verdict
Jilaijone made a winning debut for David Pipe on good ground here early last month but a bad mistake two out put paid to his chances in a better race at Wetherby next time. He has to concede plenty of weight to the filly JIKALA, another French import, who made a bright start for Venetia Williams at Herford, leading three out and staying on when headed at the last with the remainder well beaten. Planet Legend was placed five times on the Flat and has been quite highly-tried in two starts over timber but Flat winner Lady Valentine jumped poorly on her hurdling bow at Doncaster.
