In depth

Verdict

EMMAS DILEMMA provided her owner/trainer with a landmark first success under Rules when coming home a decisive winner at Huntingdon last month over 3m1f. It was also a first career success for the mare but there seemed no fluke about the performance and she may follow up under her useful conditional off an 8lb higher mark. The additional furlong should not be an issue, nor the quicker conditions. Lawtop Legend has a first start for the Dr Newland yard, which has a fine record with new inmates to the stable. He could prove very dangerous off his lowly mark and note him in the market. Recent winner, Good News, and the consistent Bolt N Brown complete the shortlist.
