Verdict
Fruity O'Rooney is in the veteran stage now but he won this last year and is only a better higher. However, he comes into this year's renewal without a recent outing so OPENING BATSMAN (NAP) is preferred. The top weight got his act together at Wincanton in February and, though 11lb higher, did win off today's mark at Kempton in 2013 and has the class to cope. Valco De Touzaine is still a youngster but hasn't been in the best of form for a while and Handy Andy is hard to win with nowadays, though is starting to slip down the weights. Greywell Boy may have stamina issues and Brass Tax has his first race in almost 12 months.
